Privacy Notice
Last updated: 2026-10-15
This notice explains what happens to your personal information when you use this website or contact Pure Essentials London. It is written in plain words. If anything is unclear, email us.
Who We Are
The website is run by PURE ESSENTIALS (LONDON) LTD, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 09500632. Our registered office is 129 Station Road, London NW4 4NJ.
We decide how your information is used, so we are the "controller" for it.
To contact us about your information, email info@pureessentialslondon.com.
What This Website Collects Today
This website does not ask you for any information. It has no forms and no account.
The pages of this website use one advertising tag, from Google Ads, and only if you press Accept on the cookie banner. Until you choose, and if you press Reject, the tag does not load and no cookie is set. Your browser stores one small note of your choice so the banner does not ask again; that note is not a cookie and is not sent anywhere. The fonts are stored on the website itself, so your browser does not fetch them from anyone else.
Two things on this website come from other companies, and they are described below: the online booking calendar from Treatwell on the Book online page, and the map from Google Maps on the contact page. The WhatsApp, email and Instagram buttons are ordinary links; nothing is sent to those companies until you click one.
Hosting
The website is hosted by GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub. When you visit, your browser connects to GitHub's servers, and GitHub receives your IP address. GitHub logs IP addresses for security purposes. GitHub keeps those logs; we have no access to them.
The Online Booking Calendar (Treatwell)
The page "Book online" shows a booking calendar provided by Treatwell. It is loaded from Treatwell's own servers as soon as you open that page, so Treatwell receives your IP address and sets its own cookies in your browser. When we checked on 13 September 2026, Treatwell set 2 cookies, named fe20-flipper-id and growthbook_id, which last up to 2 years and which Treatwell uses to run its own features and tests. Treatwell explains its cookies in its own cookie and privacy notices. The calendar is not shown on any other page of this website. The "Book online" buttons on other pages take you to that page, or straight to our page on Treatwell.
When you book through the calendar, you give your details to Treatwell under its own terms, and Treatwell passes us the booking details we need to provide your appointment.
The Map
The contact page shows a map from Google Maps. It loads as soon as you open that page, so Google receives your IP address and the page you are on, and handles that information under its own privacy notice. When we checked on 13 September 2026, the map did not set any cookies in your browser. If you use the map or open it in Google Maps, Google's own terms and cookies apply from that point.
When You Contact Us
Most people contact us by WhatsApp, by email or through Treatwell. Each of these services is run by another company, which handles your messages under its own terms and privacy notice.
WhatsApp is run by Meta. When you message us on WhatsApp, Meta processes your message and information about it, such as your phone number and when you sent it.
If you use a WhatsApp button on this website, the message box opens with some words already typed. Those words name the treatment you were looking at, or the part of the site you used, and a short reference code. This helps us answer you. You can change or delete the words before you send.
We read and keep the chat so we can answer you and arrange your appointment.
When you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and your message. Our email is delivered through Google's email service.
Treatwell
When you book through Treatwell, you give your details to Treatwell under its own terms. Treatwell passes us the booking details we need to provide your appointment.
The Instagram link opens our Instagram page. If you message us there, Meta handles the message under Instagram's own terms.
Health Information in Your Messages
A question about a treatment can include information about your health. Please share only what we need to answer your question and book your appointment. Detailed health questions are covered at your consultation.
Why We Use Your Information, and Our Lawful Basis
The law asks us to say why we use your information and on what legal basis.
| What we do | Why | Lawful basis |
|---|---|---|
| Answer your enquiry and arrange a booking | So we can reply and give you the appointment you ask for | Steps you ask us to take before a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us |
| Use health details you choose to send us | Only to arrange the right treatment for you | Your explicit consent, which you give by sending the details to us |
| Measure which of our Google adverts lead to a contact or booking | To spend our advertising budget on adverts that work | Your consent, which you give by pressing Accept |
You can withdraw your consent at any time by telling us. This does not affect what we did before you told us.
Who Else Receives Your Information
- GitHub, which hosts this website.
- Treatwell, which provides the booking calendar on the "Book online" page and handles
bookings made through it.
- Meta, when you use WhatsApp or Instagram.
- Google, which delivers our email, provides the map on our contact page, and runs our advertising
measurement if you press Accept.
GitHub, Treatwell, Meta and Google may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Their own privacy notices explain how they protect it.
How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep WhatsApp chats, emails and booking records for as long as we need them to arrange and provide your appointment and to meet our legal duties, and then delete them.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you (access);
- ask us to correct information that is wrong (correction);
- ask us to delete your information (erasure);
- ask us to limit how we use your information (restriction);
- object to how we use your information (objection);
- ask for your information in a form you can take to someone else (portability);
- withdraw your consent, where we rely on consent.
Some rights apply only in certain situations. To use any of them, email info@pureessentialslondon.com.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please tell us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK regulator for data protection. Its website is ico.org.uk.
Advertising Cookies (Google Ads)
We advertise on Google. If you press Accept, the website loads the Google Ads tag so we can see which adverts lead people to contact us or book. It records that you clicked our WhatsApp, Treatwell, email or phone link. It does not record what you write or say after that click.
When we checked on 16 October 2026, pressing Accept set these cookies:
| Cookie | Set by | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| _gcl_au | Google Ads, on this website | Links a click on our link to an earlier visit | 90 days |
| _gcl_aw | Google Ads, on this website, only if you arrived from one of our Google adverts | Links your visit to the advert you clicked | 90 days |
| GCL_AW_P | Google, on google.com, googleadservices.com and doubleclick.net, only if you arrived from one of our Google adverts | The same, on Google's own sites | 90 days |
Google receives your IP address and details of your browser when the tag loads. Google explains how it uses this information in its own privacy notice.
Reject is as easy to choose as Accept. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie Settings at the bottom of every page. If you change to Reject, the tag stops using these cookies from that moment; you can delete cookies already set in your browser's settings.
The Treatwell cookies on the "Book online" page are described above and are separate from this.

We will update this notice when the website or the way we handle information changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
